How
does Campus Cash work?
Campus Cash is a cashless, prepaid
spending account on your St. John’s College 1Card that is accepted around
the St. John’s College campus. You must
add value to your account
before using Campus Cash to make purchases. You must have sufficient value
available in your Campus Cash account to pay for each transaction. Each time
you use your Campus Cash account, the amount of the transaction will be
deducted from your account. You may not spend more value than you have.
Unused balances roll over semester to semester and year to year.

What's
the difference between my Meal Plan and Campus Cash?
Both accounts are accessed by your St.
John’s College 1Card.
The meal plan is a nutritionally balanced
dining program available to those who wish to take advantage of a guaranteed
number of meals per semester. All residential students are required to
participate in a Meal Plan. Meal Plan units are only accepted at the
Randall Dining Hall. Meals must be used during the semester in which they
are purchased and do not carry over from semester to semester or the
following academic year.
Campus Cash is a prepaid spending account
offering a safe and convenient way to make purchases on campus. It is
designed to eliminate the need to carry cash. Campus Cash is
accepted as a
form of payment at many campus locations. Campus Cash is welcomed at all
campus dining locations and can supplement Meal Plans for
students who purchased these options. Value in Campus Cash rolls over from
semester to semester and year to year for as long as you are a member of the
St. John’s College community.

a printed receipt of the approved transaction. At self-service
locations, such as laundry and print facilities, simply
insert your card in the terminal.
